Winter at Chalet Charmille
|
During the winter season, which runs from mid December to late April, you will be based just 150 m from the pistes in the heart of the biggest ski area in Switzerland, the 4 Valleys. The skiing and boarding options are world renowned and almost limitless. With good snow cover it is possible to ski back to the chalet and the local ski bus stops just 50m away.
Accommodation is offered on a weekly half board basis: breakfast, afternoon tea and delicious 4 course dinner with wine 6 nights a week. Children and young families are welcome, and can be catered for at earlier times with agreed childrens menus, if required. Guests are welcome to relax and recover in the sauna and outdoor hot tub (a popular venue for an aperitif or an apres ski drink!)
Your hosts will be personally on hand to provide any local advice about ski areas or other winter activities.

- Delicious, home cooked food: a hearty but healthy breakfast, designed to energize you for the slopes; home baked cakes with tea / coffee, on return from the day’s skiing; then a 4 course dinner accompanied by local wines six nights per week.

- Large sauna and outdoor hot-tub, to relax after your day’s exertions
- Guest bedrooms, all en-suite, sleeping 12 adults or up to 14 with children. Five open onto a balcony
